Hello, claire leanne bryants.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"I'm called Claire Bear, CB, Bryants...anything pretty much..."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"I'm twenty years old."
» I see, and you're in what member group?
"New Survivors"
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Nina Dobrev...yeah, I get that all the time."
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"admin edit"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I love music. It's my sanity. I also like cars, especially sports cars like Aston Martins and Porsches. Boys make my heart flutter, but I would rather hang and be one of the boys than hang with girls. I like to drink a lot, but also trying to really cut back on it since I need to be more clear headed now. I adore classic movies such as anything from Mel Brooks or Monty Python! I read a lot, anything from thrillers to fantasy, and I enjoy almost all the books I read. I also work out a lot, mostly my lower body with running or ab crunches and things like that, so I can stay fit. I also am obsessed with horses and horseback riding...makes me feel free. My horse Jack is the best animal I could ever ask for."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Ugh where do I start? I hate bugs, especially roaches and spiders. They just annoy the hell outta me! I can't stand abuse or seeing boys not treating girls right in relationships. Creepy people freak me out...ever since my family died, I've been really on edge about creepy stalker men. I can't stand potheads or people who are on drugs. I was never part of that scene. I would never go near preppy cheerleader types, because I'd soon as punch them in the face as look at them. Rap music? An oxymoron, and I can't stand listening to that stupid crap. Pink is the worst color in the world, and I can't see how girls wear it. Last but not least, who would eat broccoli? It's disgusting!!"
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"I'm terrified of ending up like my parents and little brother. I don't want to die. I'm so afraid of the men that killed them, and I'm scared of being on this island...I just crashed here, and I'm already ready to go. I've seen and read about crashes, and they don't seem like a fun vacation to me. Of course, I'd rather be here than back home fearing for my life. At least someone's not trying to shoot me here."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Yes...I want to stay alive...that one is obvious. But I do want to get married and have a family someday when I get a bit older. I want to form a band and make it big in the music world when I get home, and maybe finally make it to my aunt's house in Ireland...if that was even the plan to begin with..."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I guess you can say I'm sweet, funny, and sometimes shy, but only once I get to know you. However, normally I keep to myself and my own things. I have a few friends, mainly guys, and I'm very close to them. I tend to be extremely clumsy at times. I can sometimes be flirty, if I'm ever in the mood...now when I'm in the middle of my music mode and you interrupt me, I'm the type of girl that you would hate to get on the bad side of. I'm never afraid to stare you down and kick some hardcore butt when I need to...but I used to be such a hardcore drunk after my parents died...I'm trying to get better, but it's difficult to stop.
Ever since the incident in my family two years ago, I've become more of a loner. I hate being near anyone who gives me the heebie jeebies. My music has become my sanity, my reason for keeping control of my life, and I would never give it up for anything. When people do hang with me, I'm really kind and put on a mask of happiness just so I can make others happy. If I'm anything, I'm a people pleaser.
There's one big thing about me, however. I'm terrified of the night. Ever since the night my family was killed, I hate walking alone when the moon is out. I'm a very hard worker when I am needed and am considered an asset to camp members who need me, since I'm strong enough and hard working enough to keep up."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I adored it there...it was my home. I would still be living there if my family was still alive, and we'd all be happy doing our music and cars and everything."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"My mother and younger brother were murdered, and my father overdosed. Not really much else to tell about them...nothing I can do to change that, and I was supposed to be going to live with a distant aunt in Ireland, but that's obviously not happening anytime soon."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"When I was sixteen years old, I was performing at a small concert at the local House of Blues with my mom when I saw a man in the audience staring at me. I didn't think anything of it at first, thinking he was a fan and was just interested in our song. Well, we left later that night, after a successful performance that had started to give me a name in my music, my dad and little brother Jacob meeting us outside since they had been in the audience to watch and give support.
Then, I saw that same man walking up to us with a gun in his hand. My dad told me to leave, to run and don’t look back. That’s when I heard the gunshots. I heard so much pain and screaming all around me. I tried to turn but was knocked backwards as someone ran past me. When I opened my eyes and was able to sit up, my father was kneeling at the bodies of my brother and mom, crying and yelling for someone to call 911. All I could see was blood, and I watched as my mother and little brother died before the ambulances could get there to save them."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"When I was fifteen years old, my parents took me horseback riding one day and found out I had really good form in the English saddle that I was riding in, so they dropped the music courses and enrolled me in show jumping lessons. I started to enjoy it and even fell in love with a horse that was for sale at the barn. My parents bought the horse for me and named the dappled grey stallion Captain Jack. Jack and I became extremely close and were an almost perfect fit...we did have a few problems sometimes though, such as me not giving Jack hay when he wants or a good rubdown after a hard ride on rare occasions. I took fine care of Jack, though, and he loved to just run in the open every time he got the chance. He was waiting for me, and if I had landed in Ireland, I would be riding him right now..."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"I'm stuck on this god-forsaken island fighting for my life and the lives of those around me. I'm trying to make sure we're all safe and warm, but that's not going over too well. Seventy-seven of us are already dead, and there are others injured and terrified of dying as well. It's so damn hard around here, we're barely pulling through physically, mentally, emotionally...and now we're hearing things in the woods. Oh, God...let's hope there's no carnivorous animals out there looking for food."
