When people run in circles it's a very very
MAD WORLD
All around me are familiar faces
WORN OUT PLACES, WORN OUT FACES
A BIT OF A SPACE CASE
VERY OPINIONATED
QUIRKS GALORE
PHILOSOPHICALLY ARTISTIC
OPENLY ENIGMATIC
Bright and early for the daily races
GOING NOWHERE, GOING NOWHERE
--------------------
Their tears are filling up their glasses
NO EXPRESSION, NO EXPRESSION
Leaf dislikes people who are ignorant, uninteresting, cruel, or unimaginative. If he dislikes you, he'll generally just avoid you and ignore you. However, he has been known to sabotage his enemies with amazing subtelty. He's quite intuitive about people, and can usually read them well. He believes that people can change, and probably would give second chances. But maybe not third.
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
NO TOMORROW, NO TOMORROW
--------------------
And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
THE DREAMS IN WHICH I'M DYING ARE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD
Leaf comes from an odd childhood. What he does tell people about it is only bits and peices that just tend to confuse them. He was once borderline asperger's syndrome, but mostly grew out of it. As an adult, he's the complete opposite of neurotic, perhaps a bit too stress avertive, and may even be moderately schizotypal. Although he tries to be friendly and respectful to everyone, he sometimes comes across as rudely unmannered or childish.
I find it hard to tell you
I FIND IT HARD TO TAKE
--------------------
Children waiting for the day they feel good
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Friendship is very important to Leaf. He meets new friends everywhere he goes and knows that the true best friend is hard to find. He likes people he can have intelligent or creative conversation with. He likes people who are brave enough to be an individual. He likes people who are kind and humorous. He likes people who are different and misunderstood. However, on his travels, he quite often made random friends and heavily mooched off them. He always tries to be nice, but sometimes people don't interpret it that way. Sometimes people take advantage of his kindness, which then makes him take a step toward narcissism.
And I feel the way that every child should
SIT AND LISTEN, SIT AND LISTEN
--------------------
Went to school and I was very nervous,
NO ONE KNEW ME, NO ONE KNEW ME__
Leaf is wary of love. He's both heard about how great it is and seen the horrors it can wreak on good people, but he isn't sure if he's ever been in it. In the past, he has been in romantic relationships with four different friends, and may have to cleanse any residual feelings for those four exes before he tries a new relationship (a task that may prove unpleasant for the partner who must do the prying). He identifies as antisexual, meaning he prefers to fly solo. Also, he has little interest in children. But, underneath it all, Leaf wouldn't like anything more than to find someone with whom he can be completely open, happy, and experience a lustless romance that is true love.
Hello teacher tell me, what's my lesson?
