Hello, Austin Carl Myth.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Not really, just Austin works."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Just turned 40, was going to Europe to celebrate. Get fucked up and act like I'm twenty years younger, but that got interupted now didn't it?"
» I see, and you're in what member group?
"New Survivors"
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Stone Cold Steve Austin, and to be honest, I don't think my mug is quite that ugly."
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"Toothpaste. Guess I'm stuck using saltwater to clean my teeth for awhile now arn't I?"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I'm a good ole' country boy, so I guess acoustic guitar with a good country riff. Big ole' four-wheel drive trucks, a good mud pit, drinking, raising hell, and long legs. Ha. Other then that I like guns, spent a good portion of my life in the Marine Corps, but like all good things that came to an end. I spent a few years travelling the world afterwards, being reckless in my youth. Learned a thing or two about survival, taught a survival class. So in a twisted sense, I'm loving the situation I'm in right now. I really like slow nights, I don't look it, but I got a sensitive side. Sitting under a full moon listenin' to the crickets, ain't nothin' better. "
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"My prick of a father, but his old ass is dead. I don't like animal or woman abuse, my Grandmama and Gran Da taught me well, I won't do it and I won't allow it if I'm there to stop it. Can't stand little sports cars and foreign cars, too small and they sound like shit. Not a big fan of wine or wine coolers, they're okay for women and the like but I can't stand that fruity shit."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"That I'll be like my father."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Maybe stay in a marriage, actually get to see my kids, and maybe someday find a place and a woman that makes me truely happy."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"Ain't nothin' spetcial. I was the average country hick, cowboy hat, cowboy boots, weekend parties, and a big suped up four-wheeled monster. Haha. I never knew my mother, dad alwasy said she was a crackwhore who left after I was born. Grandma and Gran Da always said the same, oh, and my Grand parents raised me from the time I was eight. They took over after my dad put me in the hospital for spilling his whiskey, busted the bottle over my face and kicked the shit outta me. Broke three ribs and bruised up my lungs, doc said there was no permanent damage. Except the memories.
After Highschool, nothing major happened, I'm sure y'all don't care about my football playing and how many of the cheerleaders I screwed. But after highschool I joined the Marines, didn't care for college. Things went great, I learned nearly everything I know in the army. I was a top gunner, no one could shoot like me. Hand-to-hand combat was easy too, mainly because I was big enough to put anyone on their ass. After the Marines I used the money to travel, went to remote places. Never was one for Italy and France and all that shit. I went to South America, lived in the Amazon jungles for a year, not deep in the jungle but about a mile from a village. Spent some time over in Africa, from the desrts to the plains.
Moved back to the States when my Gran Da died, stayed with my Grandma till she passed bout five years ago. They left me the house, so I started living as a normal person. Couldn't find a job anywhere so I took what was left from my GI fund and what my Grand parents left me, and opened a survival school. That kept me supported for the last five years, since I started it I now own about three different schools. A good living, good enough to pay for a trip to Europe."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"A little town in Alabama, born and raised till my grandparents took me. Now I live in Texas."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"Got a mom somewhere, unless she's dead. Never met her, don't want to from what I've heard. I also got a worthless drunk father who thankfully crashed his truck while drunk. Hit an armored car, shot through the windshield, and well you get the point. He's dead. Then theres my Grandparents, they were practically my parents. Raised me, taught me to be a good person, made me go to church every sunday...they were the greatest people in my life and they died.
I got two boys, only saw them a few times. My wife left me, took them, painted me this horrible person because I drink. Lost the the rights to see them. Jake and Corey, Jake is twelve and Corey is eight."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"You might think it'd be the beatins my daddy gave me, but no. They melded me into a tough son-ova-bitch. No, it was when I got the phonecall that my Gran Da had died. I was sitting in a Brazillian village when my Cell went off, Satalite phone get service nearly anywhere, but my grandma could barely talk through her tears. I took the first flight outta there, and then my Grandma died two years after he did. Thats the worst I can think of."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"Seeing the truck I'd worked so hard on get started up, built the motor from the ground up. Did all the body work myself, I'd started when I was thirteen, my gran da had helped. I started that bad ole Ford up on my Sixteenth birthday. A 76 F250 Highboy. Damn I don't remember why I ever sold that truck..."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Trying not to be one of those 'old' forty year olds. The ones that think they're too old to do this, too old to do that. I'm better then I've ever been. "
