"Not really, no. Just call me Sydney. I don't really enjoy the whole 'Syd' thing because it makes me feel like a boy. This one time some girl called me 'Syddy' I was like, 'Did I give you permission to call me that?' So, yeah. Just call me Sydney."

» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Oh my gosh, now we're talking! I love, love, love Chanel. Chanel is like...My thing. I love it. God. I really also love make up, I think that stuff is amazing. I love nature too and how it like...Affects the world. Drugs, they're cool for a good trip. Umm, alcohol is pretty awesome too...I've had some fun with that. And sex. I think I'd die if I went without sex for too long. I love cherry blossoms too, I think they're beautiful. Like me. (;"

"Religious people. They piss me off when they come to my door. If I wanted to follow the way of Jesus I would, okay? So leave me alone! I also hate those bitches who try and act like those girls from TV. You're not Blair Waldorf, honey. She has a better manicure than you and would not be caught dead in last seasons Armani!"
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Death. It may sound pretentious but I'm terrified what will happen to me when I die. I don't want to believe that there's nothing after death but I don't believe in all those religions and stuff...I just hope it's not Purgatory either."

"I...Uh...Haven't really thought too much in to that. I guess it'd be pretty awesome to be an actress but you need crazy amounts of money for an agent. "
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"Hi, my name's Sydney. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York City. I went to one of those posh girls schools. I witnessed class systems first hand. I was close to the bottom...I mean, I didn't really mind it either. I was too busy with my fashion and stuff. I got recognised when I was about sixteen for my fashion sense and I kind of fell in to the wrong crowd. I started doing drugs, alcohol and staying up late. I lost my virginity to some jerk called Tobias. He was a twat. Still, I try not to dwell on that too much. After my parents threatened to take me out of my education and homeschool me, I calmed down a bit. I got back in to the things that mattered and finished school. I was offered a place at Brown but...I turned it down. School's not really my thing. I spent the Summer following a local fashion designer and then got the opportunity to study abroad. So, that's what I plan on doing when I raise enough. "

"Brooklyn, New York. New York is one of those places where there's something always going on. It's also a great place to really witness different people and the way they live."

"I have mom and dad and a younger brother."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"Ughhhh. You're really making me dig around, aren't you? Well...Okay. When I was sixteen I had this boyfriend. Well, I thought he was a nice guy. He was rich, the kind of guy that could take you to a fancy restaurant and stuff. I thought I loved him...Turns out he just loved my body. He took my virginity and it was all lovely and stuff but then I woke up the next morning alone. He didn't even leave a note. Just left. "
» What is your best memory/memories?
"Got to be that letter I opened to the opportunity to study abroad. I remember it like it was yesterday. My mom was making breakfast and my brother and I were at the breakfast bar drinking our juice. Dad comes through with our post, he was a mailman. I got my letter and it was amazing...I just remember reading those words...It makes me happy just thinking about it. I think I cried with happiness. "
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"I'm raising money to get to London to go to this school and do like an Apprenticeship...It's going to cost me quite a lot to get over there because I'm not getting paid for it but I'm almost there. It's amazing! I'm working three jobs but...You know, it'll be worth it. In the morning I work as a cleaner. Weekends I work at a bar and then during the day I'm a receptionist!"
