Hello, Benjamin Ayer Jones.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Ben or Jones. I Preferred those out of my full first name. I guess everyone hates their first name, right? Benjamin seems too formal."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"I'm twenty-three, almost twenty-four. I think.."
» I see, and you're in what member group?
"Old Survivor."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Oliver Sykes...? He's the lead singer of some band, right? I think Bring Me The Horizon was the name."
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"Toothpaste... damnit I miss that stuff."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I'd have to say my favorite thing that I did was get tattoos but that's pretty much impossible unless I want to go all old fashioned. Though that shit is way more painful than a machine and would create more work for myself. It was an addiction... what can I say, I like pain. I love cats too, big cats, small cats, anything cats. Like those crazy cat ladies you saw on those hoarding shows, I was pretty much a wannabe version of them. I haven't found a significant fix for a cat on this island. I can tell you now that most of my favorite things consisted of things that can't be acquired here... such as concerts, parties, MATTRESSES! Brush and Dirt sometimes just don't cut it when you've got a shitty back to begin with. "
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Women. Their so nosey and picky, and most of the time they don't stop nagging. I can't stand prissy girls either, or girls in general. I'll tolerate them to a point, but most of the time I'll avoid them. I hate planes too; and that was before the crash. I didn't want to go home and see my mum, I had a bad feeling... and what did that get me? I fucking one way trip to this hell hole."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Dying, but not just a normal death. I want to die knowing I've got a tombstone, knowing that I had family surround my casket as I was put 6 feet under. "
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I have two, one is to get off this island whether I swim my way or hope by some means that a boat or plane spots us. And two is to be able to cover every inch of my skin with tattoos to be a walking piece of art."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I was one of those kids in school who hated everybody in yet deep into the hate, everyone seemed to love me for my ways of standing up to authority. I was a class clown when I didn't try to be and I was the one 'outside of the box'. I was seventeen when I graduated and where did life go for me? Working my ASS off to get tattoos that I wanted. That's all I cared about was myself so I guess you can consider me to be extremely self centered. That's how my relationships ended, and that's how they don't start now. People don't like me for my attitude and I can't blame them. Though one day I'll find that perfect guy - yeah that's something I forgot to mention. I'm gay, so I guess that's where my hate for women comes from. I tried dating them and just couldn't stand the prissy lifestyle. I couldn't find anyone to suit me, but guys seemed to get me to that happy place. Oh, if I ignore you, don't take it personally.. I just probably don't like you."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I'm from New Zealand, but my after my mum and dad separated she moved to Italy and my dad moved to California. Of course I went to my dad, but I've still got a slight accent. It's not so bad that you can't understand me, it just comes up occasionally. I miss New Zealand, it had more freedom to is than the cities in California."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"My mum, who's forty-nine. Her new 'hubby' joey, and my Step-brother Matt, who's nineteen. As for my Dad... he's still single and I think he's fifty-one now. I miss my dad and step-brother the most... I just feel bad for my dad, he doesn't have anyone and with me gone that means he literally doesn't have anyone. As for my step-brother, we were just like blood brothers even with the distance. I would have hated to see him when the family got word that my flight never arrived. "
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My worst memory... tch. Wouldn't you think that waking up in a mass grave was a terrible memory? I'll tell you one of when I was back in the states and one when I woke up on this island. Back home in California with my dad, It was around the time I graduated that I got the news from a 'friend' of my fathers that he was in the hospital after a night out. He had a mild stroke and heartattack at forty-six but he was doing okay. They failed to mention that he had lost all feeling in his left arm and leg and couldn't see from his left eye. I helped him get back to his feet, but he's still got some trouble with it. Now that I think about it, they said he could have another chance to have a relapse if he got another heartattack or they said he could risk not surviving.
As for my worst memory on this island... I woke up to the smell of smoke and this disgusting smell mixed in with it. My hair was matted to my face with cakes of dirt and blood and I seemed to only catch glimpses of light. I almost thought I was blind but as I began to move I found out that I was under dirt. I didn't care about anything but getting out of a temporary grave and began to thrash but I was soon dragged out of the hole by someone. I could remember someone holding up my arms while I sat up and someone wiping the dirt from my face. Apparently they thought I had died from the crash because my heart rate had slowed down and my body was freezing from the water I was in. I couldn't do anything but stare as they buried and burned the dead bodies with the fuel from the plane. Someone said it was the only way to get rid of the disease. Just to think that I could have been burned alive still makes me shiver. "
» What is your best memory/memories?
"My best memory had to be meeting my step-brother for the first time when I was fifteen. He was ten, almost eleven and I think it was that first day that I swore I would be the best big-brother ever but something was different... I was a little weird-ed out at myself first, but as I saw him every Christmas something changed. You could say I held that brotherly love but something else scared the hell out of me as I realized I didn't just 'love' him. I LOVED the boy, and trust me, I knew it was illegal in all cases. I'm gone now, so I guess I've got to get over that piece of my life. He would be nineteen now and probably worried more about himself or a girlfriend than me. He probably thinks I'm dead."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Where am I now? Aren't you asking these questions or are you blind? I'm on an island, stuck without a hope in the world to get out so why can't I make the best of it. My life is now a game of survival and why not toss in a little extra fun to that? Fun was an understatement in the states, I couldn't do anything that wasn't breaking the law but here there isn't any sort of authority to say no or to put me behind bars. I can scream as loud as I want, Eat what I want, piss where I want, kill what I want. Oh, and I'm still trying to decide if help DOES come along.... will I climb onto that boat/plane or will I just stay here and make a better life for myself? Now if you don't mind, I need space from you. You're starting to bug me."
