Hello, Victoria Eloise Hodges.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Just call me Victoria. Please don't call me Vicky. I absolutely hate it when people call me Vicky."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Nineteen."
» I see, and you're in what member group?
"Since I recently crashed onto the island, I guess that would make me a new survivor."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Everyone always tells me I look exactly like this model named Darla Baker."
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"Toothpaste."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"My favorite things? Well, until recently I wasn't allowed any interests outside ballet, which definitely belongs in the dislike section, so I don't really have many. I am obsessed with daytime soap operas and love mint chocolate chip ice cream. Also, I love being the best at anything I do. In fact, anything less isn't really acceptable in my book."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I really hate ballet. Like really really hate it now, but that's a super long story. Also, I really don't like cats. Or my sister. I love her, but I don't like her."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"My greatest fear is simply not living up the expectations placed upon me by others."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I want to explore myself and find out who I really am. In the process I hope to find something I really love doing. And then do it."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"Well, I was born to a single mother in Atlanta nineteen years ago. Sadly, my mother suffers from addiction problems and never was really there for me or my older sister when we were kids. When I was four, I discovered ballet and my natural talent eventually skyrocketed me all the way to the Atlanta Ballet by the time I was fifteen. My sister, Tracy, had good intentions, but she practically raised me to eat, sleep, and breathe ballet for a good fourteen years of my life. My sister controlled what I ate, who I associated with, and everything that I did because she wanted me to succeed. When I got an offer to be in a ballet in Paris last year, my sister immediately accepted for me. However, when I competed there I wasn't the best of all the dancers and I guess I cracked under the pressure. My sister raised me to only accept being the best of the best, after all. So, one night I took a sledge hammer to my ankle and ruined my ballet career. It was probably the best decision I've ever made."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I was born and raised in Atlanta. I absolutely love it there."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"My mother is a drug addict who isn't really apart of my life and I don't know who my father is. My sister Tracy raised me and I love her, even if I don't like what she put me through."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My worst memory was calling my sister after the "accident" with my ankle. Even though she put me through hell, I know her heart was in the right place and the despair in her voice nearly broke my heart. She said through tears that seeing me dance made her feel such pride in having such a talented, beautiful younger sister. Even worse, it has been a year since the accident and she still constantly searches for different treatments and physical therapists, even though the doctor said I could never dance professionally again."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"My best memories came after I recovered from the accident and could walk again. I ate the most delicious, fatty foods that I had never ate before because of my strict diet as a professional dancer. I had time to make new friends and actually go out to a party or two. I spent time with my sister and got to know her better without the weight of ballet hanging over us."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"I got a job waiting tables while I try and figure out what I want to do with my life. I applied to a few colleges and I'm waiting to here back. I saved up enough money from my days as a professional dancer and waiting tables to go on a vacation to Europe just to have a chance to see the world and hopefully discover who I really am."
