Hello, CASSANDRA LORENA ROSARIO.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Well, I really prefer it if you call me Cassie. People only call me Cassandra when I'm applying for a job, or when I'm in trouble."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Well, I was born January 6th, 1989. That makes me twenty."
» I see, and you're in what member group?
"I'm a new survivor."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Cassie Steele? Yeah, I know. And it doesn't help either that we have the same first name."
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"Toothpaste, obviously."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Well, firstly, I LOVE my six year old, Javier. He's the cutest thing in the entire world. I know I'm young to have a six year old, but that's why I get embarrassed and tell everybody he's my little brother. Uh, let's see... I love taking pictures too. Even modelling for pictures is fun. Pictures are the key to the past and history. Hm... I love sweets too. It doesn't always necessarily have to be candy too... it could be sugar cane, or mango... or whatever, you know? I also love my accent. It may be straight up "Chonga" or whatever you guys call it, but I speak English better than half those kids out there. "
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I can't stand people who put me or my family down. It's rude, and not necessary. Just because we're not from here doesn't mean we're not freakin' humans. Anyway. I hate people who complain a lot, as well, or are all "I'm so ugly..." Because, in truth, everyone is beautiful. The biggest thing I hate those is when people look at me weird when I actually admit that Javier is my kid, and not my little brother. Yeah, it may have been a mistake, but he is the most beautiful thing that has happened to this world."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"That Javier is going to die on this island."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Career wise? I just want to be in the industry. I want to act... I love acting. But I mean, if not, I want to be a photographer, or I want to model. My biggest plan for the future right now though, is making sure Javier gets off this island alive."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I'm really easy to get along with. I'm nice, as long as you're nice to me, I promise. I always try and look to the bright side, because if you're constantly thinking about somethin' bad, then it's inevitably going to happen, y'know? But anyway, if you piss me off, you'll regret it. And yeah, that "feisty" Spanish girl comes out in me. But I don't hold grudges as long as we resolve. I tend to tell people that Javier is my brother instead of my son... and even Javier knows the drill a lot of the times. I'dunno why, it's kinda embarrassing, but, whatever."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I'm from a small town in El Salvador called Olocuilta. I was born and raised there, up until the age of ten when I moved to the United States on my mother's working license. I loved Olocuilta, and I miss it horribly. I could literally walk to everywhere, and every day after school my friends and I would stop by "la bruja" or The Witch's house, and she would give us candy. Though my mom used to tell us never to go there, we went everyday. I just... I miss it, y'know?
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"My papi died when I was eight years old, of lung cancer. Yes, he was a smoker. I loved him to death - actually, I look exactly like him. He was the best dad, ever. My mom, I love her too, and thankfully she's still alive. She works as a spanish teacher in some city in Pennsylvania. God, I'm glad I got the hell out of there. And then, there is Javier. Though I say he's my little brother, he's really my six year old son. I had him when I was fourteen."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My worst memory was the day my papi died. It had already been a rough month - papi was in the hospital, and had lost his job. Mommy was now working two jobs to help pay his bills and keep sending us to school. Every day, as soon as school let out, I would go to the hospital and sit with him until Mom came to pick me up to go home.
Well, that day I got off of school, when I get to the hospital, the nurse won't let me in. And I'm sitting there, yellin' at her, trying to get in. Until I get it. Papi died. So, I start crying. And I can't believe he's dead, and I throw a tantrum. The doctor comes out to try and talk to me, but I pushed passed him, and saw dad wrapped up in a white sheet."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"Aw, my best memory is when Javier was four years old. I had taken him to this water park about a half hour away from the house. He was so cute, sitting there in his blue and red spida'man swim trunks. So, anyway.
At the water park, he's running around with me, and suddenly, he disappears. I find him about three minutes later, but even then, that scared the hell out of me. So, once I do find him he says, "I was so scared, Cassie. I don't know what to do with out you." "
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Well, before this damn plane crashed, I was on my way to Paris with Javier. Javier's dad, Lorenzo, lives there, studying architecture, or whatever. It doesn't matter to me. But anyway, I was supposed to go live with him for a month or two. He wanted to 'get back together.' Yeah, haha, okay.
Other than that, I was attending community college, and getting some of my credits in Broadway Art. I had gotten a small role in this movie they were filming locally and well... yeah, that's it."
